Brain Food #1 transforms an everyday pharmaceutical object, a package of relief pills bought in the United States in 2025, into an artistic statement about our relationship with stress. Carefully preserved and shown in a minimalist glass frame, the package invites passers-by to pause. It becomes both a mirror and a window: it reflects our society’s tendency to medicalise emotional responses to structural pressures, while offering a glimpse of how institutions perpetuate cycles of stress through their very architecture and organisation.
