2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Hostinger. When you visit it, the server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). Log data is deleted after a short period. A data processing agreement is in place with the hosting provider.
3. Contact by email
If you write to me, I process your details and email address to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention duty applies.
4. Cookies and consent
Strictly necessary cookies (e.g. storing your language and your cookie choice) are set on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and the ePrivacy rules. All other services only load after you consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). A cookie banner manages your consent; you can withdraw or change it at any time via the “Cookies” link at the bottom of the page. 5. Embedded content (Vimeo, YouTube, SoundCloud)
Videos and audio are embedded via external services: Vimeo (Vimeo, Inc., 330 West 34th Street, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10001, USA), YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and SoundCloud (SoundCloud Global Limited & Co. KG, Rheinsberger Str. 76/77, 10115 Berlin, Germany). These services only load after you consent. Your IP address and device information are then transferred to the respective provider, in the case of Vimeo and YouTube also to the USA. For Vimeo I use the do-not-track mode (“dnt=1”) so that no viewer-tracking cookies are set. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; for transfers to the USA Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR or the adequacy decision for certified companies). 6. Font and language versions
The font used (Barlow Semi Condensed) is stored on the site’s own server; no connection to Google Fonts is made. The language versions (English, German, French) are managed by the Polylang plugin, which does not transmit personal data to third parties.
7. Links to other websites
This website links to external sites (e.g. Vimeo, Instagram, festivals, press). Data is only transferred to those providers once you click a link. Their privacy policies apply to their processing.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Just write to info@luziekurth.com.
9. Complaints
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, e.g. the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, autoriteprotectiondonnees.be) or the authority where you live.
