Luzie Kurth (*1997) grew up in Wallonia and Cologne.
She has been working as an actress and voice-over artist since the age of six.
In 2020, she completed her studies in Theatre and Political Science at the Free University of Berlin with residencies in London and Mexico City and then graduated with a master's degree from the University of Applied Arts Vienna in 2023.
Since 2016, she has worked as an assistant director for numerous radio drama and feature productions for public broadcasters.
In her own work, she explores the fields of beauty, taste and story.telling.
In 2022, the book project '“We Share the Meal”, created in collaboration with Lars Borges, was published by Kehrer Verlag, Heidelberg. An ongoing collaboration that has led to further joint projects, including the feature-documentary film “BIG FISH - Rumba Rwandaise”, which will premiere in autumn 2024.
She speaks English, French, German, Spanish and a little Dutch and enjoys travelling to discover new flavours and their stories.
She currently lives and works in Brussels and Berlin.
